When we teach our dogs delivery to hand we follow a certain structure – play to take the object, reversed luring, handtarget, handtarget with object and reversed luring and finally sitting and presenting the object. Then we move back and forth between the different steps in that structure until the dogs has learnt the final step. The time from step 1 to the finished behavior varies with each dog, but in the blog post below you’ll see a very special dog.
